LECPTA is more than a social organization; it's a community of women who come together to build lasting friendships, support one another through every stage of motherhood, and make a meaningful impact on our neighborhood schools.

Whether you're expecting your first child, have toddlers at home, or are navigating the elementary school years, you'll find opportunities to connect with other Lakewood moms who share your experiences. Many of our members join to meet new people and stay because they find lifelong friendships and a place to belong.

Supporting Our Schools

LECPTA has proudly supported Lakewood-area schools for more than 75 years. Through fundraising, volunteerism, and community involvement, our members help provide meaningful resources that enrich the educational experience for thousands of students.

Our annual Home Tour and Auction Party are two of our largest fundraising efforts, with proceeds benefiting Lakewood Elementary and the surrounding feeder pattern schools. When you become a member, you're helping strengthen both our schools and our community.

Membership Expectations

Membership is about more than attending events: it's about contributing to the community that makes those experiences possible. Every member is asked to volunteer for at least one shift during Home Tour Weekend, our largest annual fundraiser. Home Tour is traditionally held the first weekend in November.

Whether you're welcoming guests, assisting at a featured home, helping with hospitality, or supporting another area of the event, volunteering is a fun way to meet other members while making a direct impact on our fundraising efforts.

Annual membership is $45, and your dues help support LECPTA programming, community events, and initiatives throughout the year.
