Our Impact

For nearly 75 years, LECPTA has brought families together in the Lakewood community. What began as a small neighborhood effort has grown into a vibrant organization rooted in connection and shared tradition. Over time, that foundation has evolved into meaningful community investment — with more than $4.5 million raised to strengthen East Dallas public schools and local organizations.

In recent years, our impact has expanded to include targeted financial support for Lakewood Elementary and its feeder campuses. Through coordinated fundraising efforts and signature events, including our Auction Party and the annual Lakewood Home Tour, LECPTA ensures that community engagement and educational support go hand in hand.
