Welcome to LECPTA!

LECPTA is where Lakewood women come together to build friendships, support one another through the early years of parenting, and create lasting memories with their families. Whether you're looking to meet new people, get involved in the community, or simply find your village, there's a place for you here.

When I moved to Lakewood with an almost three-year-old and a newborn, I immediately joined LECPTA. I jumped right in and volunteered for a board position (Assistant Treasurer, believe it or not) and never looked back. Through LECPTA, I’ve had the privilege of meeting some of my very best friends and the honor of volunteering alongside so many women I admire in our community.

What I love most about LECPTA is that there is no single way to be involved. You can join a playgroup, attend a kid event, volunteer for a committee, support the Lakewood Home Tour or Auction Party, or simply show up whenever it works for you. However you choose to participate, LECPTA offers connection during a season of life that can be both wonderful and overwhelming.

I’m also incredibly proud of the impact LECPTA makes beyond our membership. During the 2025-2026 school year, LECPTA invested more than $500,000 in our East Dallas public schools and community organizations such as the Peace Pantries. That support reaches local students and teachers, and is made possible by the time, generosity, and commitment of our members, volunteers, and sponsors.
