Be a part of Lakewood’s largest community fundraising event of the year, the 2011 Lakewood Home Festival sponsored by the LECPTA. This year we expect over 4,500 visitors to come to the Festival. Our 475 volunteers are the key to the success of the Lakewood Home Festival and help us raise over $140,000.
As a result, in 2010, we were able give both JL Long and Woodrow Wilson $15,000 and at Lakewood Elementary we were able to purchase new playground equipment, supplemental learning books and tools for each grade to help raise the quality of education, as well as supplies that help our teachers prepare their lessons. Your time makes a lot of “cents” for our community, your two or three hour shifts raises $300!

We partner with neighbors, friends, families, and groups that volunteer to staff the homes, the market and café, and the Lakewoodville Auction Party.
